Band Families,

It is difficult to believe that we are approaching the end of October. We have a few items this week, please read below.

Pep Band (Tuesday!)

With the Section Championship win last week, Girls Soccer is headed to state. The first state game is tomorrow (Tuesday, October 27). First round of state is always at a neutral site, so we will be traveling to Monticello to support the team. Students that are able to, please sign up on the board so we can make sure there is enough of each instrument. We know this is a quick turn around, but we hope you can make it!

Tuesday, October 27 - Girls Soccer State

Load bus at LNHS - 5:15

Game - 7:00

Return to LNHS - approx 10:30

Once we leave Monticello, we will post on BoosterHub to give a more accurate return time.

Dress: band sweatshirts and jeans. Feel free to layer for the weather.

Indoor Marching Concert

This Thursday. October 29, we will have our annual Indoor Marching Concert in the main gym. This is a wonderful way to cap off the marching band season and it is one of our most popular concerts of the year. The concert start time will be 7:00pm and we will be hosting a raffle and selling star notes before the concert.

We will be taking a Panorama picture at 5:30pm (which will be available to order), so all band members will need to report to the band room by 5pm. Students will need to be in full uniform (black shoes, black socks, gloves, etc).

Photo: We will be collecting picture orders through the BoosterHub store. We’ll post in the BoosterHub chat when that item is live. Many people order these for student rooms and/or to display during graduation parties.

Marching Band Pictures

We have had some amazing pictures being taken by our booster parents at the games. Make sure to check them out on BoosterHub under “Files -> Google Photo Album Links for Families”

We also have Jim and Ruth taking pictures again, so if you haven’t checked out their Friday Night Lights pictures, you need to do so! If you end up downloading or sharing one of these awesome photos, please use the Contact button on the website to send a thank you. Jim and Ruth do this for free because they love Lakeville sports and activities, and they also love hearing from people that appreciate the pictures.

Let us know if you have any questions.

Go Panthers!
